Committed to community involvement, Manuel served as the Director of the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation before making the move to Toronto and has previously volunteered with Pro-Bono Students Canada.

In his free time, Manuel enjoys learning languages, discovering small coffee shops, and making an honest attempt at karaoke.
